Political decline
In the context, the Saudi Minister of Culture and
Information, Dr. Awad Al-Awad, that the politicization of the Hajj political
decline through which the Government of Qatar to mix the papers and exploit
this great poetry for narrow political objectives. In recent history, he said,
no politicization of Hajj before Qatar had taken place except from Iran, which
failed miserably to that end.
Al-Awad said in a speech during a meeting of ministers of
information for anti-terrorism countries in Jeddah that the people of Qatar are
lcome this year, like every year. He pointed out that he has opened several
corridors for Qatari pilgrims and provided all their needs to perform them
comfortably and safely. The minister said: "The brothers of the people of
Qatar who wish to perform Hajj rituals should not believe the false propaganda
about preventing them from performing Hajj. The Kingdom, like all Muslims, lcomes
everyone from everywhere and facilitates the performance of their rituals with
ease and tranquility."
He stressed that Hajj is a rite of interest that the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia has been interested in since its establishment and makes every
effort to make it a success. It has proved throughout history its success in
providing its services to the guests of the House of Allah from all over the
world. He pointed out that the meeting of ministers of information in the
countries calling for combating terrorism in Jeddah comes as an extension of
the previous meeting in Cairo, in order to enhance joint work to discuss media
issues of interest to anti-terrorism countries and coordinate positions against
the country's propaganda campaigns supporting violence and extremism and
spreading hate speech.
